Bridge Cottage by Ted Hardy Bridge Cottage. Uckfield, East Sussex
This 16th century Wealden open hall house is a fine example of such a building. It is owned by Uckfield Town Councel and run and maintained by UDPS. The cottage is available for hiring by local groups or individuals.
The Income from the hiring is used to maintain and improve the building.
Open to the public on many Saturdays. Opening times 1100 to 1600, depending on the weather.
The cottage is also the headquarters for the society.
